What's my age again?

Happy Saturday! Today's post is a slight fail, but I decided to go ahead in post it anyway.

Last week I turned 23 and of course throughout the day I found myself singing a certain song by Blink 182. I began thinking about how censored/pixelated nails would be an appropriate way to interpret the music video.

Unfortunately, these did not turn out exactly as I had planned, I think I needed more contrast in my nudes. I think they still look pretty interesting regardless, even if censored nails isn't the first thing that comes to mind.

I tried it with a matte topcoat as well but when I photographed it, it had even less contrast, though in person it looked better.

For these nails, I used different mix of Lime Crime Milky Ways, OPI My Vampire Is Buff, OPI Did You Ear About Van Gogh, Julep Otte, and Revlon Bones.

So what do you think? Total fail? Kind of a cool pattern anyway? Let me know in the comments!
