Liebster Award

Hi all! I was nominated for a Liebster Award by the lovely Gin Shivers from Baroque Fool (and Griele from Nail Alchemy and Anna from Shorty Legs Beauty). This is super exciting! The Liebster Award is given to bloggers who have under 200 followers. I think it's really awesome to have lesser known blogs, who are still amazing, to get some spotlight.

Here's how it works:

1. The recipient must post 11 fun fact about themselves
2. The recipient must also answer 11 questions created by the award giver
3. The recipient must give the award to 11 new bloggers with less than 200 followers and post 11 questions for them to answer
4. These 11 bloggers must be told they have been given the award
5. They will in turn pass the award to 11 new bloggers of their choice (no tagging back the award giver.)

Probably the most difficult part of this award is choosing 11 facts about myself, but here it goes.

11 Fun facts about me:

1. I have two pugs, Gizmo and Gadget. Gizmo is fawn and Gadget is black. They are the cutest and funniest dogs ever.
2. I currently attend university for a BFA in graphic design. I'm technically a senior, but I'll probably be in school an extra semester after this year.
3. I have been with my boyfriend for a little over five and a half years. He's pretty amazing.
4. I used to bite my nails all the time, but I've always loved nail polish.
5. I decided to start blogging when my collection of polish hit the 300 mark and I still wanted more. I figured I could use "but I have a blog" to justify my polish needs.
6. My favorite band of all time is Brand New and it will always be. I've never seen the full band live.
7. I recently painted my room and I now have a faux-bois wall. Faux-bois basically means I painted the wall to look like woodgrain. I'm in love.
8. I also have two cats, Hershey and Snickers. Hershey is black and Snickers is siamese. They tend to stay away because the dogs like to chase them.
9. I like playing and watching videogames. Probably my favorite youtubers are theRadBrad and Pewdiepie.
10. I first started my blog on tumblr, but then decided to also blog on here.
11. The number 5 is my favorite number.

11 Questions for me:

1. When and why did you start blogging?
I started this blog in August and I started my tumblr in January. I guess I already answered this question in my facts...whoops...but I started this blog to give reason to my polish addiction, plus I thought it would be fun.
2. How many bottles of polish do you own?
I honestly don't know. At least 500, but I'm not currently home so I cant count.
3. What color do you have the most of in your collection?
Teals, greens, and blues.
4. What is your first memory of nail polish?
My sister one year for her birthday got a paint can filled with bottles of polish. Some of those were the Wet 'N Wild crackles.
5. What do your friends/family think of your hobby?
They think I'm nuts, 100%. Every time I get a package in the mail, I get a nice evil glare.
6. What are your other hobbies other than blogging?
I draw and I like to play videogames. I also watch a lot of youtube.
7. What is your favorite nail polish color?
Oh man, okay. I have to think about this. I love anything from the OPI Stranger Tides.
8. What would be your dream polish?
Well, I don't know what my dream polish would be, but if I knew how to make polish, I would make a Minecraft collection and it would be awesome.
9. What is something you love, but everyone else hates?
Well, irl, nail polish and youtube videos haha. Also Ke$ha.
10. What trends do you love?
Gradients.
11. What trends do you hate?
Black and white photos with one part in color.
