Not really, but these nails are pretty dang bright.
I received Neon Studs from the Born Pretty Store to review and decided I need to do some neon nail art to match.
I'm really happy with how these turned out. I have no idea if it's still "popular" to outline your nails, but I'm not sure if I care. Neon and nude is definitely one of my favorite color combinations.
Actually, the color scheme is pretty fitting for my life right now. I recently accepted an internship at a certain company that happens to make a lot of black and yellow packaging for various tools. (Can you guess where?)
I used OPI My Vampire Is Buff, (which is the best nude ever) as the base for all the nails, and used Orly Glowstick and China Glaze Liquid Leather for the different designs. Glowstick is literally the exact match to these studs.
The Born Pretty Store sells one pack of neon studs is $4.65. The amount that is in the photo above is how many I received, which is quite a lot, I think. I might need more colors and do some candy button nails or something, because that is exactly what they remind me of.
To apply these, I put clear nail polish where I wanted to place the stud, and placed the stud in that spot using a dotting tool dipped in clear polish.
