Honestly, I'm happy with how it turned out, minus the couple bubble on my pointer finger.
Normally when I do a water marble, I try to do a distinct flower-looking pattern perfectly on each nail and it never ever turns out how I want it to. Today I decided I'd just swirl the polish in all directions with abandon and I dig it. It's more of a natural marble effect.
The polishes I used are:
Nicole by OPI Goodbye Shoes
Sally Hansen Cinnamon
Instead of painting my nails with a white base, this time I just decided to paint them with Goodbye Shoes and add the marble over top.
Phew, I have now complete 2/3 of the challenge and it's time to start the inspired by section. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm going to get to those for the next couple days. I need to really really ace these interviews I have on Monday and Tuesday and I really really need to prepare myself for them. Unfortunately, interviews aren't really my strong suit.
